Plead the Widow's Cause

PLEAD THE WIDOW'S CAUSE is a spirit-filled post-hardcore band from South Jersey. Formed in 2020 and drawing on influence from 90's hardcore/punk and early 00's post-hardcore, the band started writing what would be become "Pain Split" with core members Ian Kelly, Dan Tyler, Matt Cummings and James DeVita. In 2021, they added Brett Wanamaker on lead guitar and finished writing the album in December of that year.

The first edition vinyl pressing of PTWC's landmark album, Pain Split, is from Resuscitation Records.  The song, "Pain Split" is also available on The Bitter Taste of Lost Years compilation.
