BoughtByBlood
BOUGHTBYBLOOD (BXB) was formed in early 2000 in Antipolo City. Having been influenced by hardcore bands like No Innocent Victim, Strife, Sleeping Giant, and various metal bands, they slowly concocted their own brew of hardcore/metal.
Growing up and being involved in church ministry, the band honed their skills as members of the praise and worship team. Half of the band’s members are pastors, and the rest are active church leaders.
BXB's purpose, first and foremost, is to share the gospel through music. The band founded a hardcore show called “Mosh with Jesus,” which aims to bridge the gap between the church and the hardcore/metal community. The underground music scene is a melting pot of countless lost souls and hopeless youth looking for an escape, and this ministry has been instrumental in reaching out to the darkest corners of that scene—an untapped area in regards to evangelism.
BXB's song, "Vipers," is available on The Bitter Taste of Lost Years compilation from Resuscitation Records.
